Cash exchanges allow Squadra Piloti members to sell miles on their under-utilized, depreciating cars while providing other members with access to high-end cars at attractive prices. For example, consider two members: Adam has an Aston Martin that is not driven as much as he would like and he is interested in monetizing his under-utilized automobile; Bob, who lives nearby, would like to experience driving an Aston Martin.

Squadra Piloti identifies Adam and Bob as a potential match and , if the terms each propose are mutually acceptable, connects the two club members with one another.
