Mileage Exchange

“I own a Ferrari F430 but really want to experience driving a Lamborghini Murcielago. How can Squadra Piloti help me?”

In a mileage exchange, Squadra Piloti allows you to exchange miles on a high-end car you own for miles on a car that you want to drive. For example, consider two members: Fred has a Ferrari F430 and would like to experience driving a Lamborghini Murcielago, among other cars; Larry, who lives nearby, has a Lamborghini Murcielago and would like to experience driving a Ferrari F430, among other cars.

After Fred and Larry have become members and identified what cars they own and what cars they would like to drive, Squadra Piloti identifies them as a potential match and independently asks each about their car exchange preferences. Fred may be willing to give up 120 miles on his Ferrari F430 in exchange for driving 100 miles in Larry's Lamborghini Murcielago. Similarly, Larry may be willing to give up 120 miles in his Lamborghini in exchange for driving 100 miles in Fred's Ferrari. In this simple example, Squadra Piloti connects Fred and Larry and both members benefit by driving the other's car for 120 miles.
